My Shopping Cart - what have I registered for?

Reprinting your tax credit receipt for this season or previous seasons, or checking on what you have registered for, is easy! Click on the REGISTER to PLAY button, enter the login and password that you registered your child with. All your receipts are on your player's registration form.

Effective for the 2016 taxation year, the maximum eligible amount per child will be reduced to $500 from $1,000 for the children’s fitness tax credit (which will remain refundable for 2016) and to $250 from $500 for the children’s arts tax credit. The supplemental amounts for children eligible for the disability tax credit will remain at $500 for both credits for 2016.

Effective for the 2017 and subsequent taxation years, both credits will be eliminated.

WVSC AGM: Monday June 11 at 6:00 PM

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the 2018 Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the members of West Vancouver Soccer Club will be held at 6:00 pm on Monday, June 11th at the Hollyburn Sailing Club: 1326 Argyle Ave, West Vancouver, BC  V7T 1C1.
At this meeting, the following resolution will be voted on:
1.    The name of the Society to be changed to: “West Vancouver Football Club.”
2.    The Society’s Constitution be in its entirety rescinded and replaced with the Constitution attached as Appendix “A.”
3.    Any one director or officer of the Society is hereby authorized and directed to do, sign and execute all things, deeds and documents necessary or desirable for the due carrying out of the foregoing resolutions.
4.    Any director or officer of the Society, or the Society’s agent, is authorized for and on behalf and in the name of the Society to execute and deliver any prescribed form and any supporting documentation required for the purpose of giving effect to these resolutions.
Immediately afterwards the club will be hosting a volunteer appreciation night that will include current and new board members, committee members new and old, and of course all of our technical staff will be present.  Food and Beverage will be provided as we look to build on our very successful event from last year.  

1.    NAME
The name of the Society is WEST VANCOUVER FOOTBALL CLUB
The purposes of the West Vancouver Football Club, hereinafter referred to as the “Club” are to:
(a)  develop, promote and administer the game of organized soccer in the Municipality of West Vancouver (the community”)
(b)  administer, promote and encourage participation and interest in all aspects of the game of soccer for youth and adult players, to facilitate the transition from youth to adult soccer under the auspices of the Club, and to develop the highest possible standard of sportsmanship, self-discipline, courage, perseverance and citizenship in the community;
(c)   encourage competition, good-sportsmanship and fellowship for participants at all times;
(d)  develop and promote enjoyment and competition for its members in all aspects of the game of soccer;
(e)  operate as a non-profit organization open to all members of the community;
(f)    raise funds by charging fees, and soliciting and receiving money and property, as may seem conducive to the Club’s objectives;
(g)  affiliate with and support other societies, clubs or associations having purposes similar to those of the Club; and
(h)  do all such lawful things as are incidental or conducive to the attainment of the purposes of the Club.

Spring Soccer Information 2018

Spring Soccer Enrichment Programs and Academy

Spring Enrichment Program :
  1. Spring Enrichment programs are for boys and girls who are U9/U10, U11/U12 and U13/U14/15 in the 2018/19 season. 
  2. The program runs Monday and Wednesdays for boys and Tuesday and Thursdays for girls and is for the KEEN soccer player.
  3. BU9/10 and GU9/U10 3:30 to 4:45 pm, Bu11/U12 and GU11/U12 5 pm to 6:15 pm, BU13/U14/U15 and GU13/U14/U15 6:30 to 8 pm. All programs are on Ambleside D Artificial Turf field
  4. The program will run for girls on the following dates: April 10,12,17,19,24,26, May 1,3,8,10,15,17,22,24,29,31 June 5,7,12,14,19,21 (dates to be confirmed subject to District Field requirement meeting)
  5. The program will run for the boys on the following dates:  April 4,9,11,16,18,23,25, 30 May 2,7,9,14,16,23,28,30 June 4,6,11,13,18,20 (dates to be confirmed subject to District Field requirement meeting)
  6. All Programs are expected to be held on Ambleside D Artificial Turf field (some sessions may be moved in April to Grass fields to accommodate High School Soccer)
  7. Registration will open for these programs on March 1st. 
  8. The cost of the program will be $420 (this does not include the optional Academy Uniform)

Spring Street Soccer:

During the Spring, WV Soccer runs a program for U5/U6,U7  players called “Spring Street Soccer”. These players will have birthdates in 2014, 2013, 2012, . The program will run on Fridays at 3:30 to 4:45 on Ambleside D Artificial Turf field on the following dates April 6,13,20, 27 May 4,11,25  June 1,8,15,22. The program was very popular last season and is capped at 100 players so please register early. Registration will open on March 1
Players born in 2011 will play on the same dates but 5 pm to 6:15 pm
Spring Street Soccer is one of our most popular programs and is open to any player U5-U8.   In a fun and encouraging environment, players will be taught the following:
  • Motor skills 
  • running, jumping, balance, and coordination
  • Ball manipulation
  • becoming comfortable using the inside/outside/sole/heel of both feet
  • Dribbling fundamentals
  • running with the ball in tight or open spaces
  • Passing and receiving
  • using the insides of both feet to pass and to control the ball
  • Shooting technique
  • striking the ball with the laces of both feet
The emphasis of this program will be on FUN, and the coaches will aim to leave their players feeling excited about soccer and keen to continue playing.  Sign up now as the program fills up and SPACE IS LIMITED!

Spring Friday Academy

This program is open to any player U 9 to U15 who loves soccer and is keen to improve their skills.  Instructed by the club's top-level coaches, players will learn the fundamentals of the game in a fun and positive environment.  
Dates   April 6,13,20, 27 May 4,11,25  June 1,8,15,22.  5pm to 6:15 
Players will work on:
 ball control
team play
Players will be divided into groups according to age and ability
We are not taking drop ins for this program and the program is capped at 60

Goalkeeping and Speed Agility and Quickness

The goalkeeping camp for players U9 to U15 will run on Fridays at 5 pm
SAQ U12-16 from 345-445pm and U8-11 from 5-6pm
